Ngong Ping 360 presents the first-ever immersive Three Kingdoms-themed attraction in Hong Kong – 'The Great Feast of Three Kingdoms' at 'The Dynasty of China' featuring 5 interactive zones that bring you back in time to the Warring States period

Description

Developed by the Arts and Culture Development Foundation, 'The Great Feast of Three Kingdoms' at 'The Dynasty of China' is the first-ever immersive Three Kingdoms-themed attraction in Hong Kong, now open at Ngong Ping Village! The attraction features 5 zones created with modern technology and multimedia techniques, integrating culture, education, tourism, and entertainment to offer a unique travel experience. Not only can visitors explore the Tian Tan Buddha, Po Lin Monastery, and Tai O Fishing Village on Lantau Island in depth, but they can also step back in time to the turbulent era of the Three Kingdoms – Wei, Shu, and Wu – in ancient Chinese history, where heroes rose to prominence!

5 Immersive Experience Zones that Bring You Back to the Warring States Period

Spanning 20,000 square feet, 'The Great Feast of Three Kingdoms' at 'The Dynasty of China' in Ngong Ping Village was 3 years in the making. The project invited veteran Hong Kong filmmaker Ng Yu to serve as its Creative and Production Director and renowned screenwriter Lai Man-cheuk, known as the 'Golden Scriptwriter', to be its Supervisor and Scriptwriter. With modern technology and multimedia techniques, the attraction features 5 zones: The Great Feast of Three Kingdoms features a 270-degree immersive projection, interactive games, and animations produced by the Beijing team that worked on the 2008 Beijing Olympics and the 2010 Shanghai World Expo, offering a stunning audio-visual experience that makes visitors feel as if they have traveled back in time to an ancient battlefield; Journey to Shu presents a spectacular image of a phoenix flying over a cliff waterfall; The Weapons and Warriors of the Three Kingdoms Interactive Museum introduces the warriors and legendary weapons of the Three Kingdoms through films and interactive games; The Wisdom of the Three Kingdoms focuses on one of the most iconic figures in the history of the Three Kingdoms, Guan Yu, showcasing his loyalty and courage, and allowing visitors to get up close and personal with the legendary hero, hold the 82-jin Green Dragon Crescent Blade, and view the battle robes and horses of different kingdoms as if they have traveled back in time to an ancient battlefield; and The Wisdom of Zhuge Liang Interactive Projection allows visitors to stand on a virtual ancient city wall like Zhuge Liang, play a simulated guqin zither of the Warring States period to rout the enemy, and release Kongming lanterns, experiencing the clever strategies of this wise military advisor firsthand. The 5 zones are interconnected, bringing the famous battles, characters, and strategies of Romance of the Three Kingdoms to life through modern technology and multimedia effects. Whether you are a fan of the Three Kingdoms or a history enthusiast, this is a must-visit attraction!

Introduction to the 5 Zones of 'The Great Feast of Three Kingdoms' at 'The Dynasty of China'

The Great Feast of Three Kingdoms Immersive Projection and Interactive Games

As soon as you enter The Great Feast of Three Kingdoms, you will be greeted by a 270-degree giant immersive projection, along with stunning sound effects and lifelike multimedia effects, that transport you back over 2,000 years to the battlefields of the Three Kingdoms, as if you were in the classic scenes of Romance of the Three Kingdoms. From the Battle of Red Cliffs to the Battle of Guandu, every scene is captivating. Visitors can also participate in a virtual city attack game, feeling the tension and excitement of the battlefield and truly becoming a part of the Three Kingdoms history!

Journey to Shu Scene Installation

Next, you will walk on a plank road in Shu, with cliffs on both sides displaying a magnificent image of a phoenix flying over a waterfall, resembling the dangerous terrain of Sichuan. With mist lingering in the air, visitors will feel as if they are on an ancient plank road, experiencing how the Shu army traveled through this treacherous route.

The Weapons and Warriors of the Three Kingdoms Interactive Museum and Game Zone

This zone features films introducing the warriors and weapons of the Three Kingdoms, including the Warrior Ranking of the Three Kingdoms, the characteristics of weapons from different kingdoms, and their tactics: Shu's iron axe, Wei's long spear, and Wu's bow and arrow. In addition, visitors can participate in a simulated martial arts game between Lü Bu and Zhao Yun, with AI technology allowing participants to beat drums and cheer for their favorite hero!

The Wisdom of the Three Kingdoms Exhibition

This scene focuses on one of the most representative figures in the history of the Three Kingdoms, Guan Yu, known for his loyalty and courage. The exhibition allows visitors to get up close and personal with this legendary hero, hold the 82-jin Green Dragon Crescent Blade, and view the battle robes and horses of different kingdoms, as if they have traveled back in time to an ancient battlefield, experiencing the war atmosphere of the Three Kingdoms period.

The Wisdom of Zhuge Liang Interactive Projection

Last but not least, visitors can step into the shoes of Zhuge Liang, the symbol of wisdom in the Three Kingdoms. They can stand on a virtual ancient city wall like Zhuge Liang, play a simulated guqin zither of the Warring States period to rout the enemy, and release Kongming lanterns, experiencing the clever strategies of this wise military advisor. This zone not only showcases the life of Zhuge Liang but also allows visitors to experience his wisdom and strategies firsthand, including the thrilling and ingenious 'Empty Fort Strategy'.
